About Us: I am a cat enthusiast having been owned by wonderful felines all of my life. In 40+ years there’s rarely been a period of more than a few months when I haven’t had a cat companion (or a few 🙂) There is no doubt that these magnificent creatures have enriched my life in so many ways and it’s an absolute joy to be able to give kittens the very best start to became little beams of light and joy in their new homes.
Our Cattery: We are a small Cattery and all our cats live with us within our home and are primarily companions and much loved family members.
Our Breeding Ethics: Breeding is a passion and a hobby for us. We always breed to improve the ‘type’ within the limited gene pool of Golden British Shorthairs (especially here in the U.K.) We do this with health and wellbeing at the forefront of what we do. All our cats are clear of PKD and tested clear of FIV and FELV.
Showing: We believe it’s important not to breed in a bubble, which is why we are committed to showing our cats at least a few times a year so that we can get input from judges and other exhibitors. It’s not easy for Goldens to compete against the type and bigger size of standard coloured British Shorthairs that they are up against in the show ring. However showing gives the opportunity to get input and feedback from judges about the cats we are breeding which we find of great value. We are very proud that 2 of our cats (Anubis and Haumea) have both been awarded the title of Champion.
